Welcome to the neighborhood! A man thought to be a friendly neighbor helped a pair of roommates move into their apartment at Meserole St. and Union Ave. this weekend, but there was a catch. From DNAinfo:
The suspect began to help the roommates move their property from a U-Haul truck into the building, but then disappeared about 30 minutes later, police said.
When the roommates returned from getting food, they realized that a backpack containing $2,775 worth of property — including a MacBook Pro and Bose headphones — was gone, police said.
We all know there are only four types of people you should trust to help you move:
1. A paid mover with good reviews.
2. A family member.
3. A very close friend.
4. A somewhat close friend whom you have offered beer & pizza who finally responded to your 4th email about it only because they realized they also have to move soon and you will owe them one.
